When high security meets high tech
Superior MotionProtect G3 Fibra is an indoor motion detector designed primarily for high-risk facilities. It offers precise movement detection at a distance of up to 49 ft. The device is equipped with a PIR sensor and uses radio frequency scanning with a K-band microwave sensor to filter out infrared interference. The detector accurately responds to both slow and fast movements and has a reduced blind zone. Superior MotionProtect G3 uses Fibra technology and the bus connection method for instant transmission of alarms and events. All in line with the Ajax user experience.
Key features
In an Ajax system, you can combine devices of all product categories: Intrusion protection (both Superior and Baseline), Video surveillance, Fire and life safety, or Comfort and automation. Create the system to suit your needs and manage it in a single interface.
This is the device of the Superior product line. Only accredited Ajax Systems partners can sell, install, and administer Superior products.

PIR sensor
All Ajax motion detectors use PIR sensors by Excelitas Technologies, a field-leading American manufacturer specializing in designing and producing optronic components since 1931. Ajax Systems constantly proves the sensor’s superior quality at the production stage: we test 100% of manufactured devices. This approach ensures the utmost accuracy of intrusion detection.
K-band microwave sensor
A K-band microwave sensor scans a room to minimize false alarms caused by thermal interferences. Operating in conjunction with a PIR sensor, it uses microwave technology only for PIR sensor alarm verification. Unlike traditional X-band sensors, a K-band sensor offers enhanced precision and superior energy efficiency. This results in minimal impact on battery lifespan and significantly fewer false alarms. Additionally, the sensor is completely safe and does not harm human health.

Temperature compensation
Temperature compensation is a software mechanism that maintains the contrast of the thermal diagram even if the ambient temperature is close to the temperature of the human body. With each ambient temperature measurement, the detector corrects the PIR sensor data according to the coefficient table stored in its memory. The detector is effective over the entire operating temperature range.
Thermal interference filter
We processed thousands of thermal patterns caused by people and the environment to develop the SmartDetect software algorithm. In armed mode, the detector constantly analyzes the thermal diagram from the PIR sensor, including the IR radiation intensity, thermal spot size, movement speed, time spent in the detection zone, and other parameters. The algorithm filters out potential false triggers such as headlights, lighting devices, and heat flows instantly and with high accuracy. As a result, the detector accurately responds to movement without false alarms.
Professional installation
Proper installation and configuration of a motion detector are key to detecting threats quickly. Placing the device at the right height and angle ensures it covers the intended area. Correct positioning prevents blind spots and improves accuracy. Proper installation also reduces false alarms, by avoiding areas with fluctuating temperatures or frequent non-threatening movements.
Masking detection
Even if the Ajax system is disarmed, an intruder cannot sabotage the device without being noticed. The detector’s anti-masking system notifies of attempts to hinder, cover, or paint its lens, and reacts to all masking materials, including drapery, paper, metal, glass, plastic, aerosols, dyes, and more.
Superior MotionProtect G3 Fibra does not have a pet immunity feature.
Fibra
Unique wired technology
An Ajax system uses secure two-way communication based on the Fibra proprietary protocol. It features encryption and device authentication to prevent sabotage, spoofing, and data theft. Fibra lines are versatile and support connecting devices, such as sirens, keypads, and detectors with photo verification, to one line.
Up to 6,550 ft of wired communication with a hub or a module that extends the Fibra line1
One line for different device types
Photo delivery via Fibra line without interference
Protection against sabotage and spoofing
Energy efficiency as a priority
Fibra communication requires minimum power consumption, with the detector consuming only up to 90 mW at its peak. Fibra operates on the TDMA principle. Each device has a short time frame to exchange data with a hub, and its communication module remains inactive the rest of the time. This approach significantly reduces power consumption and helps avoid interferences even when multiple devices communicate simultaneously.
TDMA and power-saving modes
Power consumption of up to 90 mW
System supervision
Device self-test of all sensitive elements allows users to check if the detector is functioning properly. During the self-test, the PIR sensor, K-band microwave sensor, and masking sensor will be tested. The device runs the self-test of the built-in sensors automatically regularly. If a malfunction is detected, the system immediately notifies users and the CMS. Also, the device self-test procedure can be started manually via Ajax apps.
Automatic device self-diagnosis with status report
Regular polling to display the current device state on apps
Instant maintenance notifications
Sabotage resistance
Automatic check of all detector components
Introducing Superior LineProtect Fibra, a module to protect an Ajax hub and wired devices from sabotage when an intruder causes short circuits, applies 110/230 V~, or uses stun guns.
PRO is king
The myth about wired systems being difficult to install is busted. Ajax minimized an expensive, long, and dusty experience for PROs by developing an ultimate set of tools to make the process easy and flexible, from project design to client support and system maintenance. There is no need to disassemble the device for installation. Intuitive Ajax apps help quickly make the device a part of the system, and each device can be reconfigured remotely at any moment. No need for programmers — everything is available out of the box.
Fibra power supply calculator
The online tool provides security engineers with detailed data on devices' power consumption, enabling easy pre-installation assessment of the wired system project. It helps design the project in real time, highlights problem spots, and offers solutions. Upon completion, results can be downloaded as a PDF file.
With the SmartBracket panel, an installer can effortlessly mount the device on the wall. The installation kit includes all the necessary fasteners. There is no need to disassemble the device: the board with terminals is placed outside the enclosure under SmartBracket to eliminate hardware damage during installation. The board is removable, which makes the whole process more comfortable. For cable management, there are fasteners inside SmartBracket to secure the wires with ties.

Accounts for companies and installers
An Ajax system transmits alarms to the PRO Desktop monitoring app or any third-party CMS. The security company receives an alarm notification in less than a second. Notifications include all the necessary information, such as the device’s name, the time of the event, and the exact room where the device is located. The security company also receives photo or video verification, capturing the reason for the alarm.
