The Trace GPS device by Tested Electrical is designed to directly locate mobile assets, such as road vehicles, caravans, and boats, via an Ajax app. A typical setup involves installing a Hub 2 Plus Jeweller with a 12-24V PSU (type A) connected to an external battery, along with a 4G modem to provide internet access for both the hub and the Trace GPS module.

To check the location — whether in an emergency or as part of routine monitoring — the user can simply press the panic button in an Ajax app. This action triggers two notifications. First, the app sends a notification about the alarm activation, and shortly afterward, a second notification arrives with the Trace GPS device's exact location.

The Trace module sends its real-time GPS coordinates upon demand, helping users quickly respond to potential emergencies and monitor assets from any distance. This solution is ideal for businesses managing vehicle fleets since it provides a reliable way to maintain control over mobile property.
