Connecting a bundled capacitor for LightSwitch [120]. Why is it needed, and how to connect it to lamps?

The bundled capacitor is a device intended to provide sufficient power supply for LightSwitch [120] and stable operation of lamps in the following cases:

  • the power of the lamp is less than 20 W (an approximate value that can vary depending on the type and technical characteristics of the lighting appliance);

  • the turned-off lamp is flashing;

  • LightSwitch [120] is malfunctioning or unstable;

  • adding LightSwitch [120] to the system fails (with an installed touch-sensitive panel);

  • another abnormal operation of LightSwitch [120] or lighting appliance is observed.

The bundled capacitor should be connected in parallel with the lighting device according to the following diagram: in a lamp socket or terminal board nearby.
