Bundled capacitor: when it’s needed and how to connect it to lamps

The bundled capacitor is a device intended to provide sufficient power supply for LightSwitch and stable operation of lamps in the following cases:

  • the power of the lamp is below the minimum requirement (refer to the table);

  • the turned-off lamp is flashing;

  • LightSwitch is malfunctioning or unstable.

The bundled capacitor should be connected in parallel with the lighting device according to the following diagram: in a lamp socket or terminal board nearby.

For two-gang models of LightSwitch, the bundled capacitor should be connected in parallel with the lighting device as follows:
