EN54 Indicator Jeweller provides visual fire alarm indication when detectors are installed out of sight — behind doors, above suspended ceilings, or inside technical spaces. When a paired EN54 detector is triggered, the device instantly activates a bright LED frame to signal an alarm. The indication pattern can be configured as bistable or continuous-pulse, allowing the indicator to be adapted to project requirements.

Installation experience beyond standards
With Ajax, technological excellence is not only about compliance — it is about design that reduces installer workload and makes system setup pleasant, intuitive, and error-free. EN54 Indicator Jeweller delivers wireless installation as it should be — complete in just minutes.
Adding the indicator to the system is as simple as scanning a QR code and making a few taps in an Ajax app. An installer only needs to set key parameters, such as the virtual room, fire zone, and exact device location. Configuration takes just a few toggles — no complex programming required.
Once added to the CIE, the indicator must be paired with fire detectors to signal their alarms. An installer can pair them by creating a fire alarm scenario in the system.
The indicator is easily mounted onto the SmartBracket panel — no need to disassemble the enclosure. Installers can also fine-tune the position by rotating the device up to 55 degrees. An optional lock on SmartBracket prevents unauthorized device removal.
The device automatically tests the Jeweller signal strength and alarm annunciation. Installers can initiate the test with a tap in an Ajax app, and the results appear in the event log within seconds.
Unique wireless technology
When every second counts, there's no room for delays or dropped connection. That's why the Ajax indicator uses the Jeweller protocol for two-way radio communication. This proprietary Ajax technology goes beyond the standard and helps to spread an alarm across the facility in just 3 seconds.
The device communicates with the CIE at a distance1 of up to 1,700 meters out of the box — no external communicators required. For sites with obstacles, an Ajax range extender can double the coverage or create a separate radio network when connected via Ethernet.

The Ajax radio protocol guarantees a stable connection and continuous device monitoring. Jeweller is designed to be less vulnerable to signal interference, extend device battery life, and promptly detect connection loss.

Pre-installed batteries provide up to 5 years of autonomous operation. Real-time battery status is always visible in Ajax apps, so there is no need for unnecessary maintenance visits. Service companies also receive early low battery notifications for timely replacements. When it's time to change the batteries, an installer simply removes the battery compartment cover — no tools or enclosure disassembly required.
