ExternalAntenna
Antenna for LTE or radio communication
Radio communication that never falters
ExternalAntenna helps overcome barriers to radio signals in challenging environments, such as safe boxes, reinforced concrete rooms, or metal enclosures. Place the signal transmitter or receiver beyond obstacles to improve signal strength in Jeweller, Wings, and cellular channels and get a more reliable and stable connection. If the ExternalAntenna cable is cut or severed, you will receive an instant alert1.
Key features
Stable connection everywhere
Protected from cable breakage
If the integrity of the ExternalAntenna cable is compromised, the system will notify both the security company and users of breakage. Even if the signal only weakens and doesn’t disappear completely, a notification will still be sent. By default, the hub automatically switches to the built-in antennas and informs both users and the security company of the issue.

Triple solution for all needs
A single ExternalAntenna, which supports 698–960 MHz and 1.710–2.690 MHz frequency bands, can be connected to one of three communication outputs: Jeweller, Wings, or cellular. Depending on the selected output, the antenna will optimize the connection within the supported frequency band.
For reliable radio communication, ExternalAntenna must be connected to both Wings and Jeweller channel connectors. A single antenna cannot guarantee proper channel operation.

Swift and easy configuration
The device is connected to the hub’s circuit board and is routed to the outside through mounting holes in the hub’s casing or Ajax Case.
Standard SMA connector
Up to 9.8 ft of wired connection
Installed using a double-sided adhesive tape

This applies only to Hub BP Jeweller.
